MAGNETIC CLOSURE BOXES

Hard cover style

box anatomy

The box is supplied assembled and set up. It is custom-made from two parts glued to each other, one of which is the hard cover and the other is a rigid tray. The diferent style options feature a variale number of panels on the cover and corresponding magnet position.

This style includes a 4-panel or 5-panel cover surrounding all sides of the tray.

The 4-panel cover style includes magnets which are incorporated in the tray.

The 5-panel cover is doubled at the closing side. The magnets are incorporated mid-panel on the inner side.

magnetic rigid box

This style includes a 3-panel cover which encases the rigid tray on 3 sides, back, top and front. The magnets are incorporated in the side of the tray.

The hard cover panels and the rigid tray have a solidboard core covered with a binding material.

The binding material is thin paper which may be different or uniform for all elements. Most often, the solidboard is 2 mm thick, but the thickness may vary according to the client’s request.

nPack’s magnetic rigid boxes are typically manufactured using sustainably produced papers of European origin, sourced from GF Smith (UK), Koehler Paper (DE), Fedrigoni (IT), Favini (IT),  Arctic Paper (SE), Winter & Co. (UK), etc.

Design upgrades

integrated components

The design upgrades to the magnetic rigid box style include packaging elements that add extra functionality, custom inner shapes, or modified capacity. Each of them presents a great opportunity to create tailored packaging solutions.

Unlimited upgrade options can be specially developed and produced for specific product and brand requirements.

Delicate flat ribbons are a great embellishment to the luxury magnetic rigid box. They come in a great variety and are available in different widths and lengths, colours and materials.

The ribbons are easy-to-use pulls, ties or stoppers and add to the box appeal and to the unboxing experience. Ribbons can be used separately or in combination.

The tray inserts are custom elements made from paper and solidboard. They create custom inner shapes or change the tray capacity.

All the extra inserts are instruments for a greater unboxing experience. They can be used separately or in combination.

The interior tray and interior lid are packaging solutions pre-designed by nPack’s team and customisable in size and appearance. Dividers and custom inlays are developed according to clients’ projects.

All pockets provided by nPack are box elements made from paper and solidboard. Paper pockets are made to order and their shapes and sizes are customisable. They are suitable for flat paper sheets, such as documents and certificates, or for any type of card.

The sleeve pocket and the paper wallet serve as envelopes while the mounting corners fix an envelope to the box’s top panel. Typically, the pockets are glued to an exact place on the magnetic closure rigid box according to clients’ needs.

The sleeves are partial box wrappers opened at two ends.

The outer sleeve and the banderole are used as means of fixing the magnetic rigid box closed, or just for the purpose of adding an extra printable surface. The lift-off band is a specially developed sleeve which uses a tear-off strip which turns it into a handle to take out one box from another box.
