The 12-point Royal Stag proudly adorns each bottle of The Dalmore. It embodies the distillery’s noble heritage, dating back to 1263.
The emblem is reproduced on the luxury event bags made by nPack, embossed in silver with exclusive precision.
THE STORY
A tribute to a king
The Dalmore’s Royal Stag emblem was bestowed upon Colin of Kintail, the first chieftain of Clan Mackenzie, after he saved the life of King Alexander III of Scotland from the fury of a charging stag.
Thanks to the brave actions of their ancestor centuries ago, the Mackenzie descendants were permitted to use the Coat of arms. When they took over the Dalmore distillery, they gifted the stag’s head to the brand.

nPack were trusted to produce a set of outstanding bottle bags with ribbon handles for a promotional event of the Dalmore Highland Single Malt Whisky. This black and silver perfection was achieved through several stages of the packaging creation process.
Back in 2019, we started with plain pre-production samples from stock paper, followed by printed pre-production samples from the high-end Colorplan paper. Only after the sample approval, the order followed in 2020 with a repeat in 2022 for another event.
This set of bags is crafted from the exceptional Colorplan Ebony paper, a deep black material of remarkable quality, manufactured in the UK. The paper’s impressively high thickness further enhances its premium appeal.
Black grosgrain ribbons for the handles and central closure complete the luxurious aesthetic, seamlessly blending style and function.
The design embraces a minimalistic elegance, pairing the timeless combination of black and silver.
The silver accents, achieved through hot foil stamping on the dyed surface, create a striking contrast that exudes sophistication.
