For their client Nexo, a globally operating platform for instant crypto loans, Oblik Studio established a visual language which covers all aspects of communication with the finance company’s clients and employees.
THE CHALLENGE
Luxurious collector’s box
During the festive season of 2020, Oblik Studio was tasked with creating unique gifts for Nexo’s customers. After deciding on a set of three magnetic badges, they reached out to our team to explore and discuss creative options for the interior and exterior keepsake box design.

THE CREATION
Refining existing expertise
Oblik studio helps businesses grow through effective design. In line with our clients’s approach, following a thorough project brief, we started the product development process. Its initial step included technical drawings and 3D computer models of the inner inlay for our client. All interior elements were designed to be produced from paper and board only.
The interior part of the keepsake box design was carefully structured to accommodate 3 company badges and a pocket for a personalized greeting note for Nexonians. Once the materials and style were selected, we conducted a series of localized tests to refine the design, seamlessly integrating existing expertise while incorporating custom nests for the badge magnets. Our technical expertise, innovative approach, and handcrafting proficiency ensured an efficient design process and a smooth, reliable manufacturing.
Built on the design studio’s work, the badges box interior is the brainchild of nPack’s development skills, inventive approach and manufacturing know-how.
BADGES NESTS
The keepsake box design features a complex inner structure custom-designed from paper and board to showcase and safely store the badges. Each compartment has a flexible part with an elegant pull, as well as a nest for the badge magnet.
CARD POCKET
Providing a custom-designed sleeve to place a personalised card added to the feeling of special attention to the recipient of the badges.
PAPER OFFCUTS UTILISATION
We inspired our client to use the carefully stored paper offcuts from their previous product – the Nexo Employer Branding box. Oblik Studio were happy with the sustainable origin of the keepsake box design for badges.
