PACKAGING FUNDAMENTALS
Magnet position
The elements of the luxury presentation folder style are the frame tray and the three-panel hard cover with a magnetic closure. The cover’s spine is left unglued to the tray, allowing the cover to lay flat.
The presentation folder can be crafted in either portrait or landscape orientation, depending on whether the magnets are placed on the long or short side. The Portrait variant features magnets incorporated into the long side.
The Landscape variant features magnets incorporated into the short side.
The hard cover panels have a greyboard core covered with a wrapping material. Most often, the greyboard is 2 mm thick and the wrapping material is premium paper.
The frame tray is made from thick paperboard and hidden reinforcement greyboard makes the tray rigid.
nPack’s magnetic rigid boxes are typically manufactured using sustainably produced papers of European origin, sourced from GF Smith (UK), Koehler Paper (DE), Fedrigoni (IT), Favini (IT), Arctic Paper (SE), Winter & Co. (UK), etc.
Design upgrades
nPack’s creative team has developed optional elements to upgrade the luxury folder. These features not only enhance its appearance but also improve functionality, making it easier to use and secure cards or paper sheets.
Optional additions include interior levels with or without mounting sots, ribbon lifts, card pockets as integrated packaging solutions.
Unlimited upgrade options can be specially developed and produced for specific product and brand requirements.
The interior level is a platform that fits snugly inside the frame tray, raising the product for easier access and improved visibility. It can be either removable or glued to the tray, based on the client’s preferences. Optionally, slots can be added to secure sheets or cards.

This optional feature includes a single ribbon, permanently attached to the presentation folder’s bottom or to the level platform, facilitating effortless removal of the contents. The lifts are available in two styles: a loose-end ribbon or a ribbon loop.

The card pocket is an added element glued to the inside of the hard cover, designed to hold business cards, greeting cards, or gift cards. Pockets can be made from either transparent plastic or paper. Plastic pockets are sourced from trusted suppliers and are available in horizontal or vertical orientations. Paper pockets, custom-made by nPack, offer flexibility in shape and size to suit specific needs.
