THE CHALLENGE

Contract packing
in custom slide gift boxes

Our client Gina Lenferna de la Motte from Mulmotte Trading, New Zealand, contacted us for a custom styled gift box design and production. The box itself was intended to last a lifetime, together with the wedding memory.

At a later stage, along with the box manufacturing, our client requested fulfillment of the boxes with their silk square, tissue paper and product reference card.

THE CREATION

Crafted for meaningful storage

The box features a two-part design in contrasting colours. The white inner tray is precisely measured to hold the wedding memorabilia securely. A satin ribbon pull allows the tray to slide smoothly from the outer sleeve. Encasing the tray, the grey sleeve offers a refined surface for silver foiled lettering and a delicate ornamental detail.

FRAME TRAY WITH RIBBON PULL

For one of the most widely-spread drawer box design upgrades, the ribbon pull, we used delicate white satin ribbon.

SPECIALTY PAPER SLEEVE

With its smooth texture and cool tone, the grey Keaykolour Creative paper adds understated visual richness.

GREETING CARD

A paperboard card with a printed message repeats the color scheme of the custom slide gift box and its contents.

GIFT ASSEMBLY & PACKING

We received the gift handkerchiefs from the client and carried out the contract packing process in-house. This included producing the boxes and greeting cards, assembling each custom slide gift box with tissue paper, a card, and the gift, and finally packing them securely into transport cartons for delivery back to the client.
